Dear Valued Legend Users,

Thank you for testing the Legend software update v.1.14 Beta 1 & 2 test versions and your valuable feedback. We have now removed the Beta versions from our website and we're ending the testing stage here.

We'll work on a few more tweaks and release the final version in the upcoming weeks. Please use v.1.13 until we give you the final update of the v.1.14.

Yep, I got that email sent to me early this morning (time stamped 1:36am). Boy, that was quick on v1.14 Beta 2 - blink and you missed it! They just released Beta 2 on Friday, but I didn’t learn about it until Monday when I was already gone for a work trip with no access to the detector, and didn’t get back until last night. Oh, well….at least I got to try Beta 1.

I’ll take their advice and revert to v1.13 until a final version is released.

1:36AM. Me too. One thing I noticed is that the Legend that I updated would not pair with the headphones. Paired with the Accupoint though. Tested the headphones with other Legend, V1.13 no problem they worked. Going to stay tuned.

I had no problems with 1.14 beta 1 but Beta 2 reduced my volume level maximums. The audio was very weak out of my headphones. I went back to 1.13 last night and my headphone volume was back to where it should be. I think something got messed with and they just mucked it up in general. Used my Legend today and found some decent things with it. So I'm happy with 1.13 on mine. I do miss the DT but will do without it if that equals a more stable detector that performs well. I'd love to see them improve separation and refine the target ID some more instead of new features. It's a great detector but sort of still in the rough. I think it is capable of much more refined functionality and could be a spectacular detector if they would just tweak what they already have instead of trying to throw out more features for marketing purposes. Give us stability and refinement. Extra features after the actual signal sampling and processing is more refined. Tighten up that Target ID too!
