A little late on the post. I got back about 2 weeks ago, so it’s time to post up from my vacation. I hit an island off the coast of Pattaya (Koh Larn). I was excited to see all the tourists from India at one of the beaches, so the next morning before it got hot, I had my wife take me over to the beach. Upon arriving, I saw one Thai guy in the water with a metal detector & another Thai guy on the beach, walking back & forth with his metal detector. I decided to do the water hunting, with my CZ-21. I think I found 2 bottle caps & a 1"x12" piece of rebar in the water. It was a really quiet hunt. I don’t think I’d ever hunted so long, with the machine being that quiet.
I did find a kids toy car & afew Baht coins at Pattaya beach & several more Baht coins at another beach. Based on the short amount of time I found the Baht coins at (it was getting hot & I should of had a hand shovel to dig) another beach, I don’t think it’s been hunted. So, next time we are visiting her family, I know where I’m going.
