Colonial silver pomander. Held a solid perfume concoction in the bottom perforated compartment as well as other valuable spices/scents in the two other sealed compartments. Hand made and hand engraved silver dating to at least the early 18th century. Found very near to several Spanish silver cobs. Unique and very difficult if not impossible to replace with similar piece

I have just dicovered an unknown variety of the patriotic rattlesnake buttons. Unknown as in this is the only known button of this variety in the world

That thing is ridiculous. So jealous.

My heart was pounding! Live close to an 1812 Battle Site, less than a mile.... Was thinking it might have been a relic of that War when I first saw it.... Still wonder how it ended up here....
