Nooooo! Don't do it! I refuse to go all archy on tab tops! Sick! Sick! Whatever! MDing times are gettin' tougher in many areas I guess. You play the hand you're dealt.
Those widemouth pulltab/tops were used from the 60s to around the 80s like Iggys said. Those bottles usually resembled barrels (as in beer barrel). I popped more than a few Mickey's ML's with those type tops. Now they use screwcaps. Don't recognize the red top though.
Ha, just found this Big Mouth Mickies pull top a couple of weekends ago. Brings back memories. Back to your tab, looks like the same coloring as the wide mouth Schmidt bottle also shown at Etsy and labled as a 1970's vintage which seems about right.
