So,yesterday, when the temp was pushing mid-90's, I was out in the grass parking lot of a local fairgrounds. I mean, why not?
I find the usual !!!! load of canslaw, bits of aluminum, scrap metal, etc. Also, a bunch of quarters, nickles, dimes, and pennies,
and a Bicentennial Kennedy half.. COOL!!
Hunting my way back to my vehicle for some water, I get a signal indicating another quarter , so I start to dig.
Out of the hole pops a Samsung Galaxy S III!! Complete, not broken, but covered in dirt. Brought it home and scrubbed it up (what can it hurt?).
The battery is swelled up-no good. The charge port is still caked with crud-not useable, but I wonder if a charged battery was installed, would it turn on? Otherwise, I will simply dispose of it.
