Still in shock best coin ever

INCREDIBLE!!!

What do you think it might be worth? Maybe up to a half mil ???

Well the most recent auction that I can find for this variety(Noe 1) is an AU 58 example that fetched $15600. I think tree coins range from $500-several hundred thousand

:dingding: I wouldn't dare keep that baby for fear of it being stolen. To the auction house for me on that. Oldest American coin I've seen on here. MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS! :wow:

Found the top of nearly every east coast hunters bucketlist yesterday. A full weight large planchet 1652 Pine Tree shilling. Thought I would never be able to top finding a gold coin but this one surely does. I could probably clean this one up more as it has lots of detail left but I’m scared to take it too far so Im satisfied with how it looks for now

outrageous find congrats! i don't compliment often, but i will make an exception for this! "s.o.b." to find, but they are out there! cellar holes, and fields is where they hang out.very, very tough to locate here in new england.the "tree coins"
are very rare.wonderful "rescue" historical impact is enormous outstanding!

Yeah, we don't have those in Wisconsin. That must be one of the oldest coins one can find in the USA! Crazy Awesome find, Toasted! Belongs in mindblowing category!

I'm sorry to say I was ignorant of things like this but after reading through the thread, I had to google to see why this was such a big deal. After a little research, I can only say that you have found the find of 10 lifetimes. HUGE congratulations! You now have a taste of how Howard Carter felt when he opened Tut's tomb. Don't know how you can top that.

Noice! I will have to add it to my ‘never knew it existed’ bucket list!
