Silver up to 38.71 today!

All things run in cycles. So have an endgame in mind. I do believe Silver has been undervalued for some time, so I'm not sure that it will ever get back to $5/oz. that being said, but eventually the price will level off some where, and might not have much growth for some time. Just some things to keep in mind. I do think it will keep going up for awhile though.

I just sold about 24 oz. last week for $36/oz. Helped me pay some debts I needed to get rid of.

Another poster mentioned some silver coins becoming more scarce b/c of people melting coins. I was digging thru some junk silver I have and pulled these out. They aren't in great shape, but they are semi-key dates, and could be worth more someday b/c of people melting.

That's great that you kept them! They will increase in value even more in the future.
Your also right, silver will level off eventually.I was so used to seeing silver @13-16 per oz. This is amazing to me right now.Hope it does keep on going up!!! I think I will always enjoy looking and collecting the old coins back in the 1800's and early 1900's

Buy Buy Buy...........
Silver is a sleeper investment, overlooked for years. Over the past three months it has increased 50%, pretty soon Wall Street will take notice and it will become chic to own and the market may be flooded and a drop in price may take place. But in the long run it I'm hoping for further gains.
As a small time invester I've been buy American Silver Eagles as they are the easiest to unload if you need to.

Very true, you pay premium to buy these, but they are easier to unload, and should get a premium when you go to sell. Same with name brand bars

Silver - where to buy?

Where do you buy your silver coins and bars? The places online that I've looked at all charge a dollar or more over the spot price. There must be a place that I can buy 50 or 100 ounces without paying those crazy fees...

Thanks in advance.

A dollar over spot for ASE is a good deal. I work with a local coin shop and sometimes get them for spot, but the mood has to be right.

There was a lot of guys selling American Silver Eagles at 35 yesterday, I tried contacting them but the Eagles were snatched up really quick.

I'm still buying. I might hold after it passes $50.00. But, then maybe not yet.
The dollar is toast!
Silver and gold are always worth something in any currency.

Hoarding is good to do right now! I've been trying to hoard as much as possible....But I don't hoard just to make a profit...I'm hoarding due to inflation and what the American dollar might mean in the next few years. I'm talking about survival people! There's some convenience stores in California that have accepted silver instead of cash money. Why is that? Yeah Cali. is hurting financially and very expensive to live there. Eventually as Economist have said in the past...prices of good will increase but the volume will remain the same. It's been on the nightly news in Ga. how companies are down sizing on grocery items. A box of granola bars that use to be $2.49 for a 10 pk is now $2.49 for a 8pk. Even McDonalds....yeah they got the dollar menu like all the other fast food chains. But the meat patty looks smaller in diameter. The name Big Mac needs to be changed to the Bread Mac. I remember when the meat was almost the same circumference size as the bun....now? Anyways sorry about rambling on....Just save your silver and gold if you can....
