Good deal!!! There is no way to know for sure looking at a pic but I felt pretty confident it looked silver to me but I'm far from an expert.

If I follow the instructions hard boiling an egg peeling it while it was hot smashing it in a zippy bag and placing the item in the bag and boy it tarnished quick.

The fact it tarnished was a win. I don't think Aluminum would have tarnished! Woot!
