Here's my 2 cents( I know that's cheesy and overused) but the one is holed so that makes it my first drilled coin

Found these two today with like 6-7 wheaties, the one on the left was in a coin spill with 3 of the wheats, I didn't even know it was an injun until I got home.

Also scored a 28 merc and an 14k (marked) gold plated copper ring.

I love IHPs. I've only found four ever. I gave one away to a home owner (1892)

These are my other three. 1906, an ate up 189?, and a very worn 1873. GL, HH

Michigan soil very kind.

Here's a sad 1888? IH I found at a baseball field at a neighboring town. Goes to show you never know what you will find.

My Indian Head Cent and oldest detected coin to date. 1868. Found it in the river, here it is after electrolysis and polishing. Sorry, my camera does not take good up close pics so this is as good as it gets.

Never found one in my almost first year of detecting, so I bought one! Along with some other coins I hadn't found yet in an attempt to see what they rung up as on my detector in case I was considering them trash and I'm glad I did because an IHP comes in solid as zinc 1¢ just like a stinkin lincoln. I tested it with the patina intact and then cleaned it for my collection and labeled it as non-dug.
