man, I tell you, I think I have a local hunter that is following me around,,,,seems to be the one guy I see at several different spots and same times,,,,,today, I showed up at a spot I was working yesterday and he was in the exact same spot I was yesterday, I did want to make another run through it before I hit some of the beach farther down but since he was there, I walked way away from him heading the opposite direction,,,,I noticed he was not digging much and didn't think he would cause I picked it pretty good yesterday,,,,:D he sees me digging targets and walks all the way to me and right up to me where our machines are buzzing and says, "did you pull something up?" I laughed and said a quarter,,,,we chatted a brief minute and he walks about 25 yards or so in front of me and started hunting,,,,,I trotted to him and said, "I really can't believe you saw me digging targets from over there and walked right in front of the line I have been walking for 200 yards,,,,,he nodded and kept detecting,,,I literally hunted directly behind him and didn't see him dig much and picked up the stuff he missed, no gold but a silver bracelet, silver toe ring, and two silver pendants,,,,,,,got some black coins too,,,,I just wish people were more considerate,,,,,,GL HH

You better check under your bumper for a GPS tracking device ;)

Nice finds.

Getting competitive out there huh buddy? I guess you need to start talking to yourself out there maybe they wont get close to you. None the less.... you got the loot and thats the bottom line. I just take it all in stride now.... they are going to do it and im not leaving so hopefully he misses something.... BIG and YELLOW. Hopefully we can hit it tomorrow. Ive been waiting until the afternoon tides and have missed 3 out of 5 days because of storms..... man im glad the tides are changing.

That blue stone is gorgeous, let me know if you ever wanna trade for it.

thanks but sorry, the wife already cleaned it up and claimed it,,,

Dew, these guys here are down right rude people,,,,I don't mind a little competition but to start way away from them and have them come up and jump in front of me?

That stinks when there is so much water people have to be that rude. Maybe carry a bunch of cut up bloody fish with you and toss it in their area and a shark will make breakfast out of them?

Anyway, nice finds.

Congratulations!!

Nice digs:wow2: Sometime the silver is good:wow2:
Good luck next spin:kingdances:
I'm waiting to send me some gold in North Pole:realitycheck:

Dude? You really said that. Not to funny if you think about it or you hunt in the real ocean. I know you from your posts and you are much smarter than that, even as a joke. It is dangerous out there.
Maybe reconcider please. Be safe, BH

Public land = dealing with the public . Plenty of water out there I don't see the big deal :?:.

Ummmm, that's the point, plenty of water out there and he walked like way far away cause I was digging targets and jumped right in front of me to where our machines were sounding off from being too close and started hunting,,,,, I hunt beaches all the time with 3 and 4 hunters and don't care as long as I get a little space of my own,,,,in fact, the day before I hunted with 3 other hunters in the water and had no issues and found even more finds,,,GL HH

I would have to ask who makes the rules on detecting?
Is a good distance 25ft,100ft,250ft some say you need to start at the other end if someone is already there LOL. What happens if there is more than 1 other guy detecting then the distances get all messed up.
There is no winning that battle.
I bump around when it is busy like that and I am sure some people call it jumping in front even if you're 300ft away.
Heck in MAX's videos there is sometimes 5 guys right near each other LOL.

Inconsiderate people are everywhere....they don't use turn signals, wait to write a check when they get to the check-out counter and are so self absorbed they rarely consider anyone but themselves....it's a sad situation.....most are too stupid to insult and need to be beaten....with limited attention spans they forget even that.....

Digger....I could not agree with you more. I personally have a "200 Yard Rule". If I walk up on a beach and see someone else detecting, I don't turn on my machine until I am at least 200 yards away. Just the right thing to do !!!!

Can't believe you got all of that behind me! Thanks for the new locales though.:D

Wow, SW Florida is way better than NW Fla! And from the looks, old drops too! NW Florida has too much replenishment and beach sweeping. Never anything there.

Ryan... put that ET in the closest and buy an Xcal.... you might be surprised whats out there.

I really try to stay out others way..... apparently some dont mind or they do it and dont see any thing wrong with it. Guys it frustrating..... like you said there is a lot of beach.... you can tell which way a guy is going ... so why not hunt 10 ft BEHIND him not right in front of him? What not a good idea... why? Ive gotten in behind people before and headed the other way... knowing they just hunted it.... but i didnt get in their way.
