Saturday morning farm finds

I don't know what makes me think in going to find good stuff in the middle of giant farm fields. :/
So this is from the same hill I found the civil war era heart buckle.
The cows that are in the pasture are a bit to curious. One second there clear on the other side of the farm the next second I'm digging a target and turn around and the whole heard is looking at me! A couple of them have small horns don't know if I should be concernd?

Only takes one ornery cow to start a ruckus. A course they all are curious and want to know what your doing.

Yeah I don't have to much farm etiquette, I know that a 2000 pound animal with horns is curious it makes me nervious.

What do you suppose the big piece of tackle is for?

I'm thinking some sort of horse hane but not sure. I'd keep digging that stuff. Some of those rings on the chains may be brass. You got a neat collection there.

It's not all about the silver, those are some cool looking pieces of iron! The group photo looks like something you could display.
