Korea faked everything under the sun including our music. Now their economy has gotten high and they don't do it as much. The government allowed it. Now the new cheater is China. They allow and encourage fakes. Everything is allowed as long as they are making money. Unfortunately the buyer is a victim in most cases. They do not realize a fake until someone points it out. You can't just blame "us" for buying it. Things are made to cheat people and it works.

I saw a story on the news regarding all of the shops in malls selling a lot of counterfeit goods. Some US consumers are not to blame but there are a mass majority shoppoing online or seeking out the fakes in chinatown shops or bag parties. Vogue Magazine did an article on it years ago which brought more awareness to the problem.

A Haole/Asian mix (Caucasian/Asian) is refered to as "Hapa" here in Hawaii. The mix is deadly on the eyes for both male and females alike. That's funny about your "Island girl". My wife's anything but being a Ivy college grad, a lawyer and the House Rep in our district. She's more Haole than I am
