i dont agree with some members and dont enjoy arguing, so i dont feel i should stick around to argue any longer, I made my point and i have a awesome web developer designing me a awesome new website to host a NEW FORUM

You might find that a more daunting task than you realize. Bart at Big Boy's Hobbies had one and gave up. Maybe he can give you ideas or thoughts. That is a huge undertaking and responsibility. I wish you success if you decide to go that route. Lots of money and time are involved in that task.

Don't worry about it, ill be one of the 1st of 20- new member's, and with a donation, i will figure it a vacation to get away from a once friendly forum, disturbed with a few bad apple's, once a few rotten apple's enter's the basket, it's just a matter of time, the entire basket get's ruined , if the bad apple's stick around, it's not the owner's, Administration, it's a hand full of member's, that are over looked, get to say what they want, go to far, bam there you go, just like i was harassed for 6 weeks, this guy was a good guy, we will miss him, if he decides to exit, let him go in peace, it won't be the last time i here from him, once your in the brotherhood your in

Dude, if it wasn't for contrary opinions, pro's & con's of issues, and spirited debates, THEN THERE WOULD BE NO FORUMS. Ie.: That's the whole point afterall . And yes, in the process, we'll all potentially say something someone else doesn't like for some reason (esp. if you're passionate about topics you're chiming in on).
So don't let it bother you. If it's true that someone didn't like a post , or you said or did something amiss a single time, you can rest assured that's a teensy percentage. And we all enjoy your inputs.

I had a battle or two on here and it's not worth a hoot. Closing your laptop, standing up, sighing as you walk away with frustration..Thinking about what to reply with, knowing that it'll induce a riot... Certainly not worth it...
I mostly just come on here to see how good or bad conditions are regionally....

Agree to a certain point, than the hater's need to give up, not keep on pounding , give your opinion, is fine here, administration is good here, the most understanding , they don't always agree , but most of the time they understand, rules are rules here, if we step out of line, we are corrected, but the correction should come from the administration, the one's who run this forum, not the member's, there are some that push it to the limit's, I for one am guilty , i can't take a pounding without giving it back, unlike Romy he wants to run, instead of arguing, there is

Not worried about anything at all. Nothing really bothers me. YOU were not harassed for 6 weeks. The mods and owners would have ended it. Sometimes when you point a finger at others you have to evaluate yourself and your actions.
And thank you for telling me not to worry about anything. Like you are moderating this thread and others. I directed my comments at Romy I believe. Not a bystander that wants to tell me how to govern my posts.

I've avoided getting involved in this matter but I would like to say I would hate to see Romy go, his personality is one of a kind and adds variety to this forum. Scuba Steve somehow you have taken this battle on your shoulders to defend the original cat but if you're the type that has to defend someone then they probably are wrong. You are negative and childish. Please drop it or at least stay off off the threads that were trying to avoid you.

We might need to come up with a new section of the forum known as the pit of misery! Those who are guilty of hijacking threads, go on and on with pointless rants, and who are continually spreading misery in their posts make the list. It could be like a featured thread voted on by forum members who have at least 201 significant posts! Dilly Dilly!

I thought i would never respond to you again, but most have a heart , DO YOU, it's been 6 week's of battle , which i don't want any engagement in any longer, as i see thing's differently than you. I lived in Anne Arundel Co Maryland all my life 57 year's , it's getting bad their, even though i have been detecting on and off for 42 year's, i still enjoy the hobby very much, since 16 year's old, i could care less on what you have, what you know, weather your a Pro swinger, or just an average Joe like me, there are people in this world who try to make a better life for themselves , and MOVE to a better location, i for one, than there are people who stay put, till the day they die, sorry the Detroit river is not Ca, Florida , or a better place for your hunting, ya see there is other place's to hunt, and other's who see thing's differently, not just SCUBA"S way, Chuck's way, your not the Judge here , nor the jury , the way i see it, your lonely , you might need a new home in another state to were you can film underwater, use your gear other than the Detroit river, i moved here in Delaware 10 miles from the beach for a change, i don't condemn someone for not finding gold, not hunting, or the scoop he, or she- decides to use for the day, i think maybe you should consider changing the tide's, maybe look down in your soul, search and find the positive thing's in life , and leave all the negative thing's to rest at peace, bury the hatchet basically , let thing's go, see a new light, as i have, looking at the future , leave the past, good time's , happy hunting, Good Luck.

As for respect - it's earned and NOT claimed just because of one's experience... It's also easily lost by one's actions or loose lips (words in this case)
We all enjoy FMD, YouTube, and other sites BECAUSE people like you that take time to contribute.......
As for the East coast West coast stuff - I used to travel for work to sites on both coasts and there is a definite difference in attitudes / mindset / disposition .... I'm not joking..... very noticeable...... No other way of putting it but its quite obvious........
