In the past, I haven't posted any finds on this board, but I had a little luck last week and decided to share some of the nicer ones with MDF friends. I found both coins at my go to spot in Central Mass on a single hunt. I found the 178? Massachusetts Copper (a bucket lister for me) and the 1805 Draped Bust Large Cent at dusk during a recent thaw. I didn't even know these were coins until I got back to my car. They were both down about 10" and a few inches apart in an old ravine and rang up on the XP Deus between 77-88. Unfortunately, I kissed the LC with my digging trowel , ugggh! Hey, nothing like a late 18th century-early 19th century coin spill; I'll take that any day.
Thanks for looking and HH Everyone!
