R&D- NoxBox Waterboarding Test

Have you hit a snag? No update lately.

The first test was overnight in a bathtub, and there was a tiny bit coming through around the threads of the brass heat-set inserts for the chargeport cover. I changed the design slightly, then dove with it three days ago, shallow salt water, mostly 5-6’ for about an hour, then submerged again in the tub overnight with no leaks. I am still waiting to find a machine in rough shape for torture testing in open water (checking ebay every day). I have 15 cases ready to assemble, and piles of silicone gaskets made, but can’t send any out until I know depth specs, and streamline the assembly process. I will also make an installation video.

Currently a bounty out for control box ($100 dead, $200 alive), or a $400 bounty for a well-used Nox 600 I can sacrifice to Neptune.

Thanks for the update.

I'll keep my eyes open for a broken or super cheap Equinox.

Calabash Digger was trying to sell an Equinox 800, but I think it was one that had malfunctioned, but he got working against by throwing it on the ground (no joke). Maybe he'll be willing to let it go for a nominal price, especially knowing what it'll be used for?
