KT's Royal Treasury has a quick start to 2024 with the arrival of some Walking ladies dating from the mid 1930s to the mid 1940s. What a life these Silver Ladies have seen! Now they have come to the Royal Realm for some real rest and relaxation, which KT is most happy to give them! We all had a nice talk over some hot mulled cider and then off to rest and relax for them!

The Royal Photographer did manage to get a snapshot before they retired! Enjoy the pic!

Does the King keep a royal ledger of the number of walkers in said treasury? I think I have one walker, maybe 2....

Nice additions KT
Yes, His Majesty personally attends to said Ledger, also called the Royal Courts Silver Coin Spreadsheet! HA HA But it would take significant time to research your question. A reasonable guess would be around 500+-. And Royal Thanks, GroundSweeper!

I agree. Why else would the American Silver Eagle look like the walker. :waytogo:
The engravers at the US Mint are not idiots, LOL. They knew that both the public and coin collectors alike, appreciated the beauty of Liberty Walking and they wanted sales to be brisk for investors, collectors and the general public, so they simply used that design with minor alterations on the obverse of the coin. And the American Eagle has been a very popular coin worldwide!
