Pewter Spoon Handle Age?

Would anyone know about what the approximate date of this pewter spoon handle? I believe it is stamped "GW" and has a crown. I am trying to date an old site. Thanks, Steve

Stephen the only thing I could find is this; "

1. Crown Stamp: The crown symbol is significant and often indicates that the piece was made in England. After 1877, English pewter frequently featured an excise mark consisting of a crown over the initials of the ruling monarch and a code number1. This mark helped regulate the production and sale of pewter items during that period."
