Wow your lucky then, most all the shop's around here ask darn near new price on most everything.

Rule #1 in pawn shop shopping if you don't see what your looking for ask, most have 50~60% of
their inventory in the back of the store as floor space is limited.

went to a local pawn shop today just to look around. noticed some coins in the corner and they usually dont sell coins. also over heard the guy working say to someone selling stuff that they arent buying anything right now as they have too much inventory and not enough money. well i got talking to the clerk and he didnt even know what to grab when i said i wanted to see the morgan dollar and the peace dollars. anyway i ended up buying an 1881 "O" mint morgan, a 1922 "D" mint peace and a 1923 "S" mint peace. all were in decent shape about VF 40. I paid 50$ exactly.

So fellow MD'ers did I do well?
