ok heres another one then

ive been trying to think of a way to keep it honest and the only answer i can come up with is there is no answer. we will just have to trust. i dont think we will have a big problem with it. i understand the concern but there just is no way to make sure everyone plays fair,we will just have to trust that everyone is playing fair.we can how ever regulate the photos entered so no old photos are resurrected. the start of the tourny there be a control item given to each contestant and this control item must be present in the photo of finds. itll probably just be some numbers or a word youll write on a piece of paper.
 
Not bad......good thinking, assign a word or number to each contestant, then like you say that key word or number must be displayed. I guess there is a way around that too, but like you said trust will be the key here......I guess if some joker needs to open his safe and take some silver photos then say he found them yesterday, then he probally needs a prize.
 
What about the photo shop experts? Some are mighty good.

like i said there is no way to be 100% secure. i trust everyone here. and like deep silver said if someone wants to take pics of old finds or there grandpas coin collection thats there problem..pretty sad if someone cheats on a small competition like this.

lmao a sponsor huh? well go talk with whites and see if they are willing to sponsor your entry fee and maybe a new DFX..get ya one of them collared shirts with the patches and youll be in business.:shock::lol:
 
RH, is there a way I could pay the entry fee after the tournament??? I want to enter and all but I am seriously out of cash right now.....(Yes, even 5 dollars):roll: I'm sorry about this.....I want to participate but in a week I can send in money. HH

Oh, and enter me as a greenback....I don't get out hunting too often, and even though I have been at it a few years--(and consider myself somewhat a vet), the hours put in aren't too high. Thanks,

Thats what I was thinking, Maybe Minelab or Whites could pay the 5.00 then give me a new detector ,T-shirts, hats , Towels......and of course a new Truck to drive to the hunting sites.......Or else maybe another fourm member could sponser me , Pay the 5.00 then I let them use my avatar for advertising ??

So I am in then?? for the 5.00 you are entitled to use my avatar, Provided the avatar is suitable for the forum and meets the ''STRICT GUIDELINES'' of or mighty Moderating crew, The avatar will be yours to use/abuse untill the contest winner ( I.E. Me ) is announced.........Pm me I will give you the keys to ''the house'' and you can make avatar changes at your liesure.........Let me know when you pay so I can start posting some finds......

Here's another suggestion for this tournament:

Anyone that participates that hasn't previously donated to the forum should have this count or be optional towards the supporter icon if they want it....just an idea if you can make sense of my former gibbering statement. :lol::roll: HH all,
