Nox 900 or nokta legend?

I think you made a great choice.

I got one of the first Nox 900s sold in the USA. I was not impressed after using the Nox 800 for thousands of hours. At least where I detect, the 900 did not handle iron mineralization nearly as well as the 800 and Legend. It was very unstable even using conservative settings. Minelab sent me a replacement 900......same results. I sold the 900 and bought another Legend so I have two of them. My grown kids like to detect with me sometimes and having two Legends is fantastic.

Great choice on the Nokta Legend! Best bang for the buck! Equinox 900 might be a bit deeper.

My experience with both is this. I bought a 900 and just wasn’t happy with it, so I sold it and went back to my 800. I bought the wife a Legend and she didn’t like it and went back to her 540. In the Legend’s defense, I think the only way that 540 could be taken from her, would be to pry it from her cold dead hands.

Congrats! I found another silver ring yesterday and my first merc dime in 3 years. A 1919. Then today found a silver teardrop pendant.
