Be doing some private property creeks out here in the foothills of CA. Would it be worth the money to pic up a 6" coil for my 800 or just use my standard and fine some AU to pay for it haaa. Have a atpro with a snake coil available. Just fast hit on coupe small crevices on bedrock yesterday in gold 1 and couple screamers...yea 22 shorts.

I'm in southern New England, I don't do that kinda digging here ...but I haven't had the stock coil on my nox in years...
I think you'd like it doing what your doing.. if no other reason , the weight ..

I think for gold in crevices the 6 would be almost necessary. I have the 6, and honestly haven’t used it a whole heck of a lot yet, but I haven’t been gold nugget searching yet either. The weight factor is real - with the 6 on it’s like swinging a stick, so light. Would cut through water a lot easier too.

I’ve mostly used it in really noisy ground.

I’ve seen them pop up used now and again, and maybe would go that route, but certainly a nice coil to have in the arsenal.
