A two bore rifle is even wider than my item or whatever you want to call it, measuring 1.3 inches across the barrel. just sayin

They're are a few kids on the forum who know a lot of history. I've learned a good deal from many people here and plan on getting some sort of degree in archaeology.
Btw someone tell seanprodadnas that I blocked him and no longer see what he says.
Pipes get rusty and it could be any kind of pipe. I also think too big across for any standard bullet. How about a blunderbuss?
I don't have a clue at all. But just a guess to toss out there.
In the early 1900"cast iron pipes were used in or around homes so I believe that's what you have a piece of. I'm know pro just another relic hunter of 15 yrs. stating my guess as of to what it may be , do to the fact that it weighs so much for know bigger than it is. HH
Would cast iron bend like the one side shows? Seems to me like it would crack before bending that much.
Too bad there's no markings on the metal. That could help a lot.
