I joined in Jan. this year. So far I have found only junk here on the farm. We have lots of junk. Last Friday I dropped a screw driver while working on the water line to the horse corrals. Spent 20 mins. or half-an-hour looking in the hay meadow couldn't find it. Got the Ace 350 out last Sat. morning and found my driver in about 5 minutes. No silver or gold yet. Still hopeful. Raining today. Made cookies.

Stick with it, you will find some good stuff and then you will be seeking that feeling for a long time! I should say, with every swing you never know!

Obviously you have spent a lot of time swinging, that or you have a killer place to hunt (probably both).....I am impressed!

Every day except one for at least 3 hours a day and yes this is a killer place to hunt. We have beaches, Spanish and Civil war areas plus tons of parks and small town square type places. The wife and kids love it, she is shopping for hers now lol

So cool, I am happy that you have such a great place to hunt and such an awesome family. I have an awesome family (thank the Lord) but not so much history here. HH!

I've only been out twice now, for maybe twenty minutes total. The first outing I dug up a melted metal droplet a some can slaw, the second I found a busted hot wheels car.

Still here - but will have time off while the 350 control box gets checked out (test coil still falsing on those darn sticker upper grass blades, twigs and fishing line)

Sis borrowed the camera, so no photos today - at the park found my first coin (zinc penny) followed by 7 more memorials, first wheat dated 1936 and my first dime.

Fishing hole - lead, lead and more lead - 2 steelhead jigs

Front yard - I think I'm chasing a disassembled Hobart dishwasher

Back yard - hewing hatchet head, squished pocket watch, and big iron - perhaps tractor parts.

Though wet ground gets more depth, it will be nice when things aren't so muddy.

HH everyone and Best Fishes!

Hang in there, the good stuff is coming with the next high tide! FYI, I have seen some great advice on beach hunting on you tube.....wish I was close to a coastal beach!

I am new and still here. Received my detector for Christmas but have not had a chance to get out and use it yet but hope to soon!
