I want to make one more comment BEFORE I give up.
Since I have NOT tried an At-Pro in salt water but only heard it was useless at any depth in salt water, I will leave that up to you to do more research on. It is good to go 10' deep and is a great land and fresh water machine.
A land detector like the E-track or Whites M-6 that was suggested are for LAND. If you wade you really have to be extremely careful not to get wet.
Try to make an educated decision and maybe talk to others. I don't want you discouraged with your machine purchase and that is why I tried to give you the better detectors for your hunting preference.
