New forum, what happened?

In case you just logged in and wondering what happened...
Due to hardware failure on the web server we have to reinstall everything from scratch.
I see this as an opportunity to upgrade the forum software, as the old version of Vbulletin was obsolete for many years now.

Conversion went well, all the forum, posts and PM's are still here, some things did not, but there was not much I could do.
I wanted to open the forum asap and work on other things as the time permits.

Any feedback is appreciated, thank you guys.

@Vlad One thing I've encountered so far is that when I went to fix one word in my signature line, it said I was 184 characters over the limit. Can that be extended back to at least what it was?

Vlad, really happy you were able to work thru this. I'm sure that it cost you something $$, in addition to the frustration. If you take donations to help run the site, I would do that to help. I would think others might as well. Thanks for the huge effort!

Vlad, many thanks to you and all who's dedication and hard work brought the forum back to life. I for one missed it while you were down. I was able to entertain myself with the other forums but it wasn't quite the same. Again thanks. Mark

Am hoping rule #5 will apply to youtube videos, at least those who only post a youtube link and say "You won't believe what I found !!" without any backstory or pics to go along with it, I get sick of people scrounging for clicks - Or a dedicated subforum only for youtube videos would work too - In fact would be ideal as those who like that stuff could easily find it, and those who don't can easily avoid it.
