New digging tool

Digging tool

I just ground the end down on a bench grinder.Been using it regularly for over 6 months.I find it to be very strong and ideal to use.I just sharpen the edge every month on the bench grinder. Also it does not look like a dangerous knife or dagger.

I dont know if I like that rounded tip or not. I kinda like the fork, but maybe I'll have to pick up a second one to file the tip off,..might be good in rockier areas.

Nice modification on the tip. I might try it out but for now I kind of like the fork as Smooth does. I agree, they do appear the same and mine is made by true temper also.

Looks like mine is just a upgraded model in a different color with sheath. I do like the sheath though. So far it has proven much stronger than any tool I have used before. I never get the "oh, better back off I'm about to bend it feeling" , its very well made.

The cutting edge is great in sod and the serrated hacks through roots nicely. Sheathed it does look a bit like a big @#$ knife, although when u pull it out its obviously a digging tool.

Thx for sharing your views and mods.

That's what I need to get, Who did you buy it from? Did you get it at a retailor or online?

Go to your nearest LOWES, They have them for $12.98, Thats where I got mine and it works great, no problems. Can't beat that price.
