New beach scoop company?!!!

Very cool Robert... I won't show spots I hunt around here... when others post pictures of CT beaches they are hunting I can tell even if camera or video is pointed down.. where they are at...

For instance Carter from detector comparisons would post a video of a beach parking lot I knew right away where he was lol... then he posted a video of him finding a ring and he showed a few rocks and I knew where he went to look for the woman's antique ring  I know these places like the back of my hand...

A few years ago someone posted here a group of guys hunting a beach I hadn't hunted in years... some people love advertising where they hunt and they think they can edit or hide where they are hunting... I knew right away where they were... next day I went down got two nice heavy gold rings... I'll scavenge someone else's spot if they want to bring a camera or go pro I have no issue being a scavenger ... that is why I do not allow any camera's or video's at my spots that I have researched.

How are you 100% certain they don't have a camera on them ? Nowadays they can be very small. Do you use a pinpointer to perform a cavity search ?

I'll tell you how certain I am... if I see it they are no longer invited to any of my spots.

Be interesting to see if the water levels have changed there since that top picture was taken. Here, water that was waist deep during the 20's is now over your head, luckily we have good winds sometimes which will open these areas up. Problem with that is the water is only low for 4 hours..

That water way way out there is 8 foot deep. in fact, the base to the radio tower is over a waders head. I know exactly where that is.

You put it out there someone will find it.. then they are going to bring there friends and then they bring there friends..
At one time I really enjoyed Toms video's but now he rants to much about the pouches and it's his own fault for putting out the video's. If you go back 5 years ago on his video's he names one of the rivers he hunts.

I see Chicago Ron is Hot on this spot now.. Ron got another gold there today..

Joe... only video's I watch are of dirt guys.. for some reason I can't stand watching beach hunters  I like the Hoover Boys and Green Mountain Metal Detecting

Anyone can find a gold ring at the beach but these guys find awesome artifacts and coins back to the 1600's... I find that way more exciting then a gold ring... Maybe because I started out as a dirt guy... ;)

When Mark found that Continental USA Officers Button I would have traded a 50 gold rings for it... I love history its why I look for old gold... anyone can pull fresh drops that does nothing for me... I could care less about a gold rolex... its why I was so excited when I pulled that 1794 half cent might not be worth much but its worth more to me than a chunk of gold...

When I first got into water hunting in 1985, I did research and found this spot. I went into the water and found out later that one of the top hunters in Detroit drove up to hunt, saw me and drove on back to his home. At a later date after I met him and became friends, he told me he wanted to keep the spot a secret and figured if he went into the water I would KNOW it was a good spot. He said that due to the junk and muck that maybe I would give up and never come back.

Later he said if I told anyone about the spot, it would take but a week and 25 members of a club would show up

It took 30 years for this to happen and yes, when others finally figured out this place, it was full of hunters and now it is nearly cleaned out.

It was fun while it lasted.

Chuck, I know you know where it is and it is not cleaned out if you are a diver. But as you know it is illegal to dive there for most folks. You have some fantastic spots and have made some fantastic finds. I also have been lucky and have found stuff most can only dream of now days. Gold is getting scarcer to find with all the new age metals. However there are still plenty of old places left for divers and maybe waders.

Anyone can find a gold ring at the beach
Anyone?..:biker:..;)

I'm not a big fan of any of the video's, not even my own. Hoover boys would have to be one of the few I watch now but even then that's rare..... Everyone seems to be into "Click the button and subscribe"

NOT anyone can find a gold ring at the beach. The detector , experience , settings all play into it. Maybe they are tired of pulling tabs and caps , which as we know can be gold. Bottomline I believe is on the beach , you better dig about 95% of the targets under your coil. Many can't do this.

Here in So.Cal , we just don't have the abundance of history to compete with the east coast. Sure , we can find some late 1800s and up gold jewelry , but is very rare. I like the history of old stuff too. But gold has no memory. Gold is gold ! Finding an old relic or 200 year old coin is cool. Holding that history in you're hand , I get it. But if it's only worth 50 or 100 bucks ? I'll take a fat honker (which used to be 15+ grams) anyday.

I agree with the KOB, if it ain't real gold ........ it has little value to me..

Put it to you this way then... its pretty easy here... Joe can back that up every place we took him to someone scored the gold... its all about taking the time to do the research to see what the land was used for back in the day...

Well we will agree to disagree... I rather have history than a gold ring.... its why I got into the hobby it certainly wasn't for gold...
