Need some nickel VDI help

I usually just do what longbow62 mentioned. Only dig the 11s and 14s if they're fairly deep.
Generally, that would work, but this park has years and years of flooding even the clad is deep. I dug a pull tab at 10" yesterday. Wasted 15 minutes on a pull tab. That is why a good VDI and proper notching are essential.

The only problem with 11 is beaver tail sound and act deep because there small and are not always flat in the ground or worst yet there rolled up . sube

I got my imfo from the united states mint website says all the same another site said that v nickels were 2mm thinner . But the united states mint said there all the same what the heck ?
I seen several sites say that the shield nickel was 20.5mm so why is the united states mints website saying all nickels are the same weight and diameter . sube
I’m not sure, but I’ve compared my Shields side by side with other nickels and they are indeed just a little smaller. Seems like almost every shield nickel I find is completely toasted, so the diameter is an easy way to identify them.
