My First Emerald-Diamond Ring!!!!!!

I'd clean it up and get it checked out anyways. Skip all the hassle I had, and call around to find someone with an electronic gel tester for the gold. Taking it in the current condition, most jewelers will dismiss it out of hand, as they're not used to seeing gold alloys that have been long-buried. I have to say from the pics, I lean towards fake too, but you never know until you get it checked out! Good luck, hope it's real, but it's one of the prettiest "fakes" I've seen even if it isn't. Nice find, WTG!

I was wondering of the Gold Quality since it has that green on there. I do hope this is real of a find? The main reason I posted in the mind blowing finds section of this forum of thinking of it being real. If need be can move it to The other Showing section of this Forum?

I know that I only speak for myself, I'm sure nobody else here is of the same opinion...but personally I dont care where you post, or what you post, as long as you never change your avatar...:D

Any success on cleaning Utah? Even if it is costume jewelry I'd try to find a date for it. Some of these pieces can have a nice value. Hard to see the diamonds though to determine the setting. Simply put, if the stones are placed on the metal and not in metal crown it is typically paste: cabochons are an exception.
