It was several days late, but it did finally arrive. should be called a 9 x 5, not sure where they got the 10 from. I have high hopes for it because on my AT pro I had the 5x8" coil and loved it.

But still it is a sweet coil. Have not put it on my 800 yet. will wait until after 6:00 pm when it cools off a little in Atlanta.

Next week I am going to order my Steve's detector rod (upper/lower) from my 800 to make it even lighter and remove the wobble.

I am hoping that the reduce weight from the smaller coil and carbon rods will make my swinging easier on my arm. After an hour or so, my arm gets tired. I will probably order steve's counter balance also. Have read this helps a lot on arm fatigue.

Will keep all posted on how it is going. By the way orderd my Coiltek 10 x 5 4 days ago. Hint, order from smaller dealers as others have said on this forum. Got my from Phil Myers. Shipped promptly and the only delay was the USPS.

So I took mounted it on the 800 and took it for a spin. Bunch of clad from a very, very trashy public park. So trashy I have to discrim out everything below 16.

Seems to me that it hits harder on the coins. Of course it should pinpoint pretty good and it does. A lot easier on the arm. Was out for 3 hours. The heat got me, not the arm fatigue which is usually the case with the stock coil. Felt like I could have gone for 2-3 more hours but too much heat and sweat even at 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Easy to swing in thick ivy also. That was a surprise. This is important to me since some of my Civil War sites have a thick ivy groundcover between the trees. I was not running the sensitivity very high. Just on 16 because in that park 90% of the coins are 2 - 4" deep so no need to crank up the sensitivity.

Also I check the coil cover for being loose as some have indicated. It seems pretty tight. Not as tight at the typical 800 stock coil, but certainly not lose.

an update on the Coiltek 10 x 5 Nox. I am enjoying the feel of it best of all. Swings better than the nose heavy 800 stock coil. When my new carbon shafts from steve's Detector Rods this coming tue I think I will like it even better.

Have not had enough time to figure out the depth comparison. But from what others have said, I am not worried. Anything that help me hunt longer is a plus in my book.

Also have gotten a better shovel. It is 38" tall and only weighs 2 lbs and is very sturdy. Easy to carry and can dig standing up like Calabash Diggers does in his videos. That really speeds up my recovery time and have more time to hunt for new targets. Easier to did all targets.
