My annual trip to the South!

As many of you know, I head South to ward off the cabin fever, and hunt with forum friends. (This year almost was put on hold , as my mom is in a nursing home with dementia. She seemed quite agitated lately, but her Dr. and nurses say it is all part of the progression of the disease. And they gave me the ok to go.) I'll be leaving the first week of Feb., and staying for at least 3 weeks...(maybe a little longer...:D) Hoping to meet up with Dewcon, Larry, Barb, gil, Neil, and a few whom will remain anonymous.....:D. As usual, I will hunt the Carolina's, Georgia, and Florida. While in Florida, will be hitting Atlantic and Gulf waters. It's been a very busy year for me running my plumbing business, and am looking forward to some fun in the sun. Wish me luck, and hope to be posting some good finds.....Curt

Sounds fantastic.
Have a great time....

Luck to ya. Even though it's been warm up here, some warmer sand (well, unfrozen sand) would be a welcome change.

Feeling that cabin fever myself.

Finally!

So I made the 2 day drive to Florida last weekend. Got here Sunday night. First order of business Monday morning was a trip to urgent care and find out why I felt so crummy. Sinus infection. Script for antibiotics. After 3 days, feeling well enough to try a hunt. Hit one of my favorite beaches today for about a 3 hr's. 3rd target was a heavy Gold men's bracelet, marked "Italy 14K". (Wish I had my scale with me) My Southern Gold drought is over. Also found a small Silver toe ring. Did a little scouting, and found a sweet looking spot for tomorrow. Thanks for looking......Curt
