Moderators, Super Moderators and Administrators?

Curious - I see the forum has:

17 Moderators
26 Super Moderators
7 Administrators

What's the difference between these groups, and what's the function of each?

"Moderators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other actions. Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating.

Thanks John. How about "Super Moderators" such as yourself - how does that differ from just a "Moderator"? FAQ doesn't explain that.

Tom... I don't think there is a difference between mods and super mods anymore.. if anything it had to do with permissions on what they could do but since we had a rash of spammers we have increased their permissions so they could take care of the spammers when a admin wasn't here...

26 Super Moderators

When we transferred the forum to VBulletin from a PHPBB in 2006, we couldn't use the name Moderator, we had to make everyone Super Moderators. It would have caused some kind of a glitch. So everyone is a Super Moderator.

Recently when we decided to assign the Super Moderators to moderate forums, they also got a title of Moderator. So.... on this forum there isn't any difference between the two other than, if they also have a Moderator status, they have been assigned to watch a certain forum.
