Just called Bart and ordered a new coil for it. 9" concentric 3kHz coil ... Got a great deal. Bart's the Man

You're gonna like that coil. Mine practically lived on the machine. The only reason that it would come off was if I needed the separation of a DD.

from what i hear the 3khz is a killer coil for the silvers now i would say get the 18.75 dd coil and you have both ends covers

don't really see me needing a 18.75 coil but I do see 2 more 3kHz coils in the future, the Coiltek Digger and the 15" one for Christmas hopefully

Finally got back down to the Old Farm and I had hit it twice with the stock coil, hit the exact same spot and found a 35 Merc, 2 HIs, 1918 Wheat, and a 68 Rosie, it really does sniff out the coils even with old nails coming out of the same hole.
