Minelab TC3X

I prefer to support American companies but if someone wants one of these who are you people to tell them they are wrong? Just curious where the computer you are using was made or perhaps your cell phone. Use what you want but you don't have to be a jerk to those with different opinions.

Most of us are here to help people not regret their purchases... I'm all for people using sub par machines where I hunt

Agree with you.

I am by no means trying to SELL anything. I will tell anyone trying to compare the 2 units (AT Pro vs TC3X) to get the AT Pro all day. I was just clearly putting out there what the TC3X features are and saying it wasn't a bad machine for a beginner or a younger hunter and saying that the features (only) are nice on this machine in my own opinion comparing to other machines in the mid $400 price range. I apologize if I came off wrong. I am just giving my own personal opinion on the machine, there are much better detecting machines out there of course.

I don't care mainly where machines are made from, if it is a good machine, why not talk about it? Everyone seemed to be hating on this machine and after looking at it and using it for a little bit, I gave my own opinion on it. Would I buy it? no. Would I recommend it to someone? All depends on their personal wants are. There will always be someone hating on a machine, and some that think it is perfect. It is all opinion. I was just simply showing features and a possible audience for the machine.

Those 2 could be considered as "Selling Points". So could "The TC3X is trash, get the AT Pro". When people say the machine is no good for them, some people may say it is good for them. Not everyone is the same, and to outcast without giving a "fair trial" for the machine just seems unfair in any hobby. They are selling and there is a reason why they are selling. You can't ignore that fact. I am just stating factors here. No need to for this to get ugly.

I know I am new on this forum, but I do take fairness into a factor. If I am wrong on something, no worries. But I am a person that takes into consideration on "Why" something would be bad all around. Don't think just because the machine is bad for you, doesn't mean others will think the same. It is a hobby, situations and things differentiate among us, why there are so many detectors out there.

Thought this was a "Friendly" forum.
Nothing wrong with anyone stating their case or opinion but feel it could be done with a little more civility.
As a 25 year union member I am all for buying American made products and try to do so whenever possible. BUT...... I do not stand in front of Walmart cussing out everyone who comes out with a Chinese made Big screen TV.

I am a friendly person, I liked the vibe this forum gave off over others. I like it. I am not a biased person, and I generally do have a great understanding that a lot of products in each industry will not work for a lot of people. The Treasure Commanders are engineered by an American company in Texas, but it does get made in China. If you want to go that far with this little debate of "American Products".

I am not here as a vendor. I am here for further knowledge in products from other areas of the world/country and the positives and negatives on products that I just don't get from my personal experience and use. So I am not here as a sales rep, I am here for gaining and spreading knowledge. I enjoy the hobby myself, but I also have a professional background with it.

My post was not intended to take a shot at you Brad, to the contrary I personally thought you were not being treated in a "Friendly" matter and said as much. Other vendors post here freely and are never accused of doing so to drum up business and I don't think you should be signaled out for such either.

Also not trying to get into a argument about American versus Chinese products. Like I said, whenever possible I TRY to buy USA made products. Unfortunately sometimes there is not an option as some products are just not manufactured in the US anymore such as shoes, Televisions, clothing and such.

Sorry, i quoted you to agree with you and to clarify to the other posts made earlier at the same time. :)
