I suppose that if you want to listen to old department store paging system sounds, it's your preference.....but certainly not mine. Maybe Garrett will someday even produce a machine that encorporates an escalator whine for the threshold tone.

I like my safari. I call it r2d2. You must use the force. The sounds can be hard to understand at first but one you know the sound of a good target, you learn to ignore the other sounds. Sometimes I turn the sensitivity down a little and it quiets it down a little. It is a very sensitive machine and will make some sounds. I just listen for the right tones that make a repeatable sharp sound. I still learn every time I go out and it keeps getting easier. I cross saved my programs so they read in ferrous tones and it is easier to understand.

AT PRO It Is !
Well after a lot of struggling back and forth.. I went to a dealer close by,that had an At pro,,and got to use it..And fell in love with it..It was lighter too swing.simpler..and really like the Iron tones....So I went home,and sent back the Safari,and now waiting for my new At Pro..to show up !! They are sending me a smaller coil..a sniper I think.Plus another Garrett Pro Pinpointer..Bunch of extras..Kellyco came through for me.!My Daughter has an Ace 250.And I here its signals all the time..just seams clearer too me..but thanks all !!
