Military class ring found today;)

It seems like forever since I have found something worth posting. The last week and a half has been hours of driving around knocking on doors and the few houses me and my buddy have hunted have produced only a Wheatie here and there. Well today I hunted a small old house the Mexicans use while they are tending the tobacco. The farm is owned by my boss so me and my sidekick hunted it today. We only found two wheaties between us but I found a 10.7 gram sweet old military ring that was under a big root but it's missing the stone. It was a solid 12-47 at 5". I leave for the beach tomorrow so be on the lookout for some gold finds Ty for looking and HH!

Devils advocate here again. Not sure if it is a class ring. I have lots of rings with eagles on the sides that are just patriotic.

That was worn for a whole lot of years before it went into hiding! Somehow it seems familiar to me, lol. Great sterling find and good luck on those beaches .... an area I have yet to get to. Keep us posted!!

Great find!
If you cannot find the original stone with a sifter, get someone that runs a lapidary to make you one out of a precious gemstone.
There are several people on this forum that can do that!
A green tourmaline gemstone would look great in there!
There are so many options and colors, you could pick one in your favorite color.
