Dew finds so much gold he was over that one by the time he got home,,,,any repeatable signal I dig except a known bottle cap,,,,if it doesn't repeat, I know its iron,,,,the beach we were hunting is one you better dig anything you can hear at all because there isn't a lot out there,,,,,GL HH

That is a fantastic find. Definitely the clasp would be the signal. I'm amazed at some of the tiniest finds that come out of the water with the excal.

Curious, what decided you to dig that broken signal with the Excalibur ? Do you dig all broken signal's ?

Rule number one with a Excalibur, dig all raspy, broken signals, in PP / Am it can be a elongate target.

What you talking about....... i was still teary eyed when i got home and told Connie. BUT...... id missed that one, i had already moved toward the shallow getting out. So glad you were going to hunt some more and snagged it. Odd, but when me and Tim hunts..... its very rare each of us gets gold..... normally when one gets gold thats it.... the next how ever many hours are wasted time. He knew this ....... and once he found that chain called it a day too. Am i right buddy?

Dew, you are dead right,,,,the thing is most of time you and I hunt, one of us will pull yellow out,,,,when we hunt together we hunt hard,,,,,I am glad you left it for me but it didn't come from near shore,,,it was Midway between the Sand bar and shore, right where the waves were moving sand,,,,,we had way too many nickels for me to give up with no gold in either of our pouches,,,,,FL HH
