Looking for a Garrett ATP and PP

I have seen all the big name companies and the going price that they are supposed to sell them for. From reading several forum I have found some dealers give better deals by phone or by PM on forums. I haven't MDed in about 15 years now so I need everything. If anyone knows a good place to buy or if a dealer reads this please send me a pm or post here.
I will also consider packages but money is a little tight.

I had considered the ACE350 but i know I like MDing and the videos on the ATP have really got me set on it. If the price is right!

Btw... Awesome forums! I have been reading them for weeks now. I finally signed up after deciding which detector I wanted..

I have looked at bigboys. I was leaning toward them actually after reading a lot here. I was just wondering if some had even better deals. It is a money factor really.

I will check out the sponsors for sure. I just didnt know if any of them had better deals than others.

So far I have found some really good prices! The problem seems to be everyone is out of stock that has the best price. I have talked to a certain unnamed large company. They offered to match the best price but the guy was a jerk on the phone. I think I may pack an extra 20 bucks to deal with someone else...even though he made it clear they keep everything in stock.

Go with the smaller company. That unnamed big company says they always have inventory but they ship all over the world and they get better money outside of the USA so here you will get backordered (IMO).
Anyway if you can wait a couple days I will have more PP's.

Yes, sir, you are correct! I decided that after my conversation with that unnamed company. He first quoted me the standard price everyone has on their website and chuckled when I said I am not wanting the website price or I would have just ordered there.

I do not think that unnamed company is a sponsor here ...from what I have been reading. Every sponsor that I have called has been VERY nice and helpful. That means a lot too! I know their price prob has a lot to do with how many they order but some of them are $50 cheaper. I found one place offering a package deal of $589 for the two items I want...The only problem is there is a long wait. While I am sure that is not their cost I dont see how they could be making a lot....unless there is a HUGE markup.

I am also sifting through the auction sites. I am a little worried about buying used though. Does anyone know if Garrett honors the warranties on used items or if it cost for repairs what kind of price would I be facing? I have put some bids but only because the savings were in the 100-125 range below even the best new prices.

You could check with the guy who recommend that you go with a smaller company
