Megs Huge Fan!! I actually had my first settual experience with a Human other than myself at the drive in theatre to S and the B!...Yes it was with a girl, and yes I paid for admittance and the popcorn...East Bound and Down!

What about Stephen King's "The Stand"? That was a great movie!

Iv'e read most of Stephen King's books and The Stand was by far my favorite.
I usually don't care to watch movies made from books Iv'e read because they are usually a let down, now with some time on my hands I may check this one out.
Another good read from King is 11/22/63 A time travel tale about trying to stop the Kennedy assassination.

Call me crazy, but In stressful times, I like to watch Mr. Rogers reruns!....He settles me down, brings me back to a level equilibrium of peacefulness so I can think clearly.....

With my sensitive and tightly wound mental propensities, I dont need any additional external TEOTWAWKI fuel to get me all wee-weed up more than normal...

I need Mr Rogers calmness so I can think clearly to fight off the zombies! ...I have no use for Mr. McFeely or Handyman Negry, or that annoying ding ding ding Trolly trolly HO train interruptions....

Gimme Lady Eberlin in yoga pants and a few sock puppets for 15 minutes. and I'm gold!:laughing:

Lady Eberlin would look so HOT in a bikini and slinging a 12ga streetsweeper!

Just had a movie out about him.. I think with Tom Hanks. Worth the watch.

I'm 50/50 on Hank's lifetime portfolio of work..enjoyable harmless fodder for the most part.....I do not count him worthy to represent a true living soul Like Fred Rogers in both talent, motivation, and effort...

Hanks is a moldable chimera who could play a cop with a dog one day and a lovable mentally challenged pingpong player the next... Mr. Rogers was a steadfast genuine person and stayed in character for 40yrs!

...I gotta wonder though.... Who played Lady Eberlin in the Tom Hanks rendition? Angelina Jolie? Bethanny Frankel? Jedidiah Bila? Trish Regan?....yeah....here goes my imagination again..wheres that sock puppet?

Well...after that came out I ended up buying 4 trans ams. 1976 400 a/t , 1971 455 4spd , 1970 400 a/t , 1976 455 4spd. So I guess I kinda liked the movie. And Sammy Hagar's "I can't drive 55".

I'd say you liked the movie! I still talk on a CB and I have my CDL licence . The movie is still great no matter how many times I have watched it!

As with most, it does leave some things out that were in the book, but it doesn't detract from the film in any significant way.
