Little bit of gold today

I'm kicking myself in the you know what... I should have waved my coil over where I got the medal... The gold link is not broken and it makes me wonder if the chain is still in the hole :o(

Well I know where I was so it shouldn't be hard to find that spot again it was in a very rocky area with little or no sand.

Nice finds Craig

Yeah I know what you mean. I get too excited about a find and totally forgrt about a chain too.

Similiar to finding a ring in the dirt with a missing stone, and forgetting to bring the surrounding dirt home with you to sift through for the stone.

WTG! Craig - I Learned that too - if you get a medal with clasp intact - try and find the chain - I usually circle out from hole little by little. Usually I find the broken necklace and look for the medal. The other thing to look for - if you find a ring and inside is all scratched - the ring may have been on a chain - I see more and more people wearing rings on chains- couple of years ago I scooped up a gold ring - checked around spot and got another reading - I scooped up a large gold chain -broken - and it had another gold ring on it.

;)

Thanks Casper for the advice:) There was so many hits in this area it led me to believe no one else has detected it and it wouldn't sirprise me it consists of all rocks some being hotrocks but I moved them out of the way and started finding everything I posted and not a piece of trash anywhere... Thats music to my ears using a PI :)

great find 18K, just starting to get used to my surf PI pro, going to buy hipwaders soon. but for now am hitting shore line, this PI can sure pick up dimes and toonies (canadian $2 coins) if the rings are there i will get them, along with pulltabs,do not mind as i do not mind digging everything.

WTG!!! And even your pennies look nice! ;)
