Sure like reading your posts. I can relate to a lot of your finds. I use a CTX3030 and an E-trac. My oldest coin find in Wisconsin so far - a 1774 2 Reale found in Vernon county on private property ( with permission ). Can't wait for the 2018 hunt...I will be retired by then. Time for "winter research".

Oh boy! I’ve got a friend over that way who’s also retiring in a couple weeks and also uses the CTX. And,I know of 2-4 others who aren’t retiring but are using CTXs. Do you hunt with anyone else? There are coins to be found all over the place,just depends which place!
