I think I mentioned this many years ago, but I thought I’d post it again for the new guys.
When I dirt hunt I always carry a keyhole saw(drywall saw, jab saw) in my pouch. It comes in very handy for sawing through small roots. I’ve recovered many targets, over the years, that I would have not been able to recover without having the saw.
The wood handled saws take up very little space and don’t weigh much.
