did the contest ever get decided? If not I think you could have a contest where people would use your website(kellyco), have a preset budget say 1000 bucks or some number and has to assemble a "package". The package goal would be the most well rounded setup for both land and sea, fresh and salt etc... person with the best/most all around package in the budget as decided by a vote wins. One detector or two(saltwater/dryland), upgrade headphones or better scoop? Do I get the carry bag or a better pinpointer? you get the idea. Then a package could be put on the website and called the "huntcoinsdotcom package" or the winners username as far as a prize well because I just came up with the best contest I of course should get the same prize as the winner

Benefit for kellyco from this contest is going to be thousands of forum users scouring your site and products for the best deals to assemble their package and many will stumble on something they might want and purchase.

I say just offer a contest of picking a number 1-100 since we been giving ideas for almost 3 months now.
 
how about a multi-level contest and give a few people a chance to win
1-oldest find
2-most valuable find
3-most historical find
4-worst find
ETC. ETC. ETC. for as many prizes as you want
 
That last suggestion is a super idea. We will be running a contest in the near future for sure... Still putting stuff together for a good contest.

With the loss of Jamie as Kellyco Chick, I have been doing the forums alone but I can tell you that we are working hard to make things happen...

Are you still going to update the special discount page. Jamie was doing that, but she is gone now.

Yes, the special discount page is a part of the Kellyco site. What would you guys like to see go up there? I will do my best to make it happen.

I wanted to take a second and give kudos to Kellyco.

In the past I was disappointed in a few errors with my kellyco order. An item was missing, my pinpointer didn't work, the handle fell off of my gator digger. And I didn't get anything free like I had heard others rave about. :(WAAAHHH!

When I got my order, the V4 pinpointer didn't work at all. I tuned it like they suggested, only nothing happened, and I had brand new batteries. So, I called Kellyco and immediately my issue was taken care of, they said keep that pinpointer (so I didn't have to pay shipping) and sent a new one out. I got the new one within 5 days, and it works great. Score +1 for Kellyco

The orange handle fell off of the Gator Digger within just a few hunts. Then, it bent while digging in this rocky soil. I called Kellyco, explained that I would like to upgrade to the new Razor Edge Gator Digger, otherwise I forsaw the same thing happening with the replacement sawtooth digger. Kellyco obliged, and sent me a brand new, upgraded Razor Edge Gator Digger, Cutter with Sheath and Lifetime Warranty.
Free -- Score +1 for Kellyco.

The Free digger upgrade took care of the missing item since this digger cost more than the original, and it resolved my uber sadness of no free stuff...lol


All in All, Kellyco stood behind their customer and made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Score +3 for Kellyco!
