Karma is a beach...

Thanks for all the comments Guys much appreciated

That gold ring is a stunner.

The 18 silver rings isn't to shabby either.

What a bonanza!

Thanks Pennypacker, never thought I'd see another ring like that. Had to sell my very first ring when the economy went south a few years ago. The only ring I regret losing.

More great finds! Congrats yet again. :wow::wow::wow:

Yeah JWP still more ;) thought I would have cleaned it up by now, it's still full of surprises.

You don't need a metal detector there, you need a beach sifter that goes through the water.

WOW. An awesome place to play for sure. Congrats

Thanks SD, getting a Stavr EVROEXCAVATOR-2 V.33 flown in that should help to sift a bit more ;)

Sounds like a war story
Looks like you have some old virgin grounds your running into. Keep it up

Most of the old beaches are well and truly gone most under land fill or replenished to the max. This beach if it keeps of losing sand like it is will get replenishment so it's make hay while the sun shines.

Great hunt. Beautiful rings all around. Congrats.

Thanks WD

Why is it every time you post, even before opening the thread, I get sad???

~SSC:p

Thanks and sorry about that ;)

No comment!:jawdrop:

wow:shock:. More like retirement beach

Thanks Silverfishin, am thinking about it ;)

Dag Brother!! Amazing! There are some post on here I look forwards to seeing.. Yours, Is one of them....

Do you take any breaks during the 7 hours, I'm learning if I take a food break after 4 hours I can go for a few more hours...

Thanks Joe, last thing I saw before starting the hunt was some of your golden oldies to give me a kick start after a 4 hour sleep and still feeling jaded from the last hunt ;)

When the going is real good I just can't sit down and watch the tide come in while trying to force down lunch. Lose my appetite when I'm digging full on anyway. I take with me some packs of energy and protein jelly. Just pick one up make fist and it's down the hatch in seconds then wash it down with a heap of water and I'm good to go for another 2-3 hours.

I pack on allot of dive weights to keep me in place when I'm out deep in the swells and with my full 5mm wetsuit don't even notice the extra weight till I get back on dry land. This hunt carrying all my gear and trash off the beach I was starting to go weak at the knees, think I over did it just tad

KILLER hunt man, hit em while the conditions are there! I remember conditions like that, oh sweet memories...

Thanks Zee, I'm giving it ALL I've got brother but it's putting up one hell of a fight
Yeah I thought all the good stuff was well and truly a thing of the past. Just need the right sand movement and to be there to catch it when it happens.

I think you need someone to help carry the good stuff!
Congrats
Doc

Thanks DidgginDoc, no but I do need help with the iron ;)

A lot of hard work went into that hunt. What a great pay off congrats.

HH
Mike
Thanks Mike, didn't feel like hard work at the time, but I'm feeling it now brother. :oldguy:

Holy cow, always amazed at your finds over on Treasure Island! Awesome!

Thanks Vermonster, yeah the place is still living up to it's name

A killer ring.

Thanks Dirtydog

With the amount of ferrous targets you dug why not just use a pulse?

A beach is never hunted out G... the heavy targets are just deeper than our detectors can go...

As to karma.. well people who believe in that probably placed their baby teeth under their pillows for the tooth fairy as well

Oh yeah good job on the scores :)

Don't knock the tooth fairy  I made a killing from her when I was young

BTW Way down South we put baby teeth in a glass of water beside the bed :D

You are going to like this scoop. Its a bit lighter than the m9. I have the carbon fiber shaft attached to this 1.

Ronnin, I like OBN love to see your posts,,,,I swear, you work hard cause that is and unforsaken amount of targets for 7 hours,,,,,beaches I hunt could never hold that many targets for 7 hours but if it did, I don't if I could do it,,,,,,well deserved,,,,keep hitting it until it stops giving,,,,GL HH

Thanks GD, started off cleaning up trashy virgin beaches like you wouldn't believe and got use to constant digging. Wouldn't say it was easy but now it's normal for me. Still takes 2-3 days to recover from hunts like the last one

I've got two 2 V.22 Stavr scoops already much the same as the 2 V.33 but the 2 V.33 has the point that will be good for getting in and around rocks also with more blade that will take me a few more years to wear down.
It's perfect for want I need  The 2 V.22 will be my dry sand scoop with a shorter handle CF/bamboo not sure yet.

2 V.22

incredible!! nice gold and tiffany!

new to this

Awesome hunt, its the pics that motivate me. Havent found much yet but practice is key and learning my detector more too.

G, I just realized that a lot of people (including me) have probably given a disproportionate amount of credit to your location and not enough to the hunter. It takes a lot of stamina and skill to do what you do including the beautiful photos! Congrats and continued success!

Wow, another batch of killer finds!!

I really like the ring with the cross, as far a religious jewelry, that is a very sharp, tasteful piece there...

Congrats man!

Thanks rich, here's a couple more to keep you going ;) the more you dig the luckier you'll get

Thanks Ice, for most Treasure islanders they are just cool designs with no religious meaning. Allot get married here in western churches too. Those silver rings with cross designs are Chrome Hearts knock offs.
