Yes! Here we are.. MAY EIGHTH... less than three weeks until JUNE... and it is SNOWING!!

I can't stand it.

Forget metal detecting... I'm sick and tired of being COLD ALL THE TIME!!

My fingers ache, my back is out, I can't feel my feet....

If this is all I have, to look forward to... Lord, take me now.

I don't want to LIVE in FimbulVinter! I can't take this. I'm about to think up, and do something so dreadfully sinful that I'm GUARANTEED a warm afterlife!

Be careful! That's a prelude to Ragnarök.

Better get out of Dodge before the battle commences.

But it's a dry heat! I was digging snow just after new years in -40 wind chill. Oh, I forgot to mention, my drive way is 1000 feet long! Winter sucks no matter where it is or when it happens. Hang in there!

Wow....it's been a bit chilly here in Louisiana (relatively) a few mornings last couple weeks...but then my "chilly" is probably "wonderfully pleasant spring temperatures" to you if you're still getting snow.

I hear ya! It snowed in Alamosa today. The sun did come out at the end of the day though. :-) We need the moisture but I'm fed up with the cold too!

It's a tad warmer today... but today I have to work!! *sigh*

Oh well... time to go set out the leg-hold traps for those pesky Frost Giants.

Where are those danged Valkyrie when you need 'em?!

Well come summer the cold will be a far off memory and you will be digging and sweating and wishing for a little of that cool breeze to blow your way. :tumbleweed::coolinoff:

I hope this is a joke.

It is, for the most part. However, it routinely snows here as early as September and never later than October, and we get snow into May. That's not to say we don't get warmer weather in between, we had days this past January that got into the upper 60s.

It's just torture waiting for good hunting days in the spring.

In Norse mythology, after the FimbulVinter the great battle of Ragnarök ensues, resulting in the death of the gods Odin, Thor, Týr, Freyr, Heimdallr, and Loki. After that come several natural disasters, and the end of the world by submersion in water. Everyone dies, except for Líf and Lífþrasir who survive and repopulate the world.

They said it might snow Sunday night/Monday morning.
