That would be called junk jewelry since they used a one dollar bill. A one hundred dollar bill ring would have been gold!

Thats the first one I've ever seen found! Plus its worth a dollar, which is a lot more than most rings we find!
Its got 'Immediate Value' ready to spend! In a financial sense, its a Mega Score of sorts...Easier than trying to offload a salt stained Merc/barber/seated dime! See how long that takes a person to get a dollar for one of those!!! So yeah, Big Score! Congratulations!

I can't complain. Only on the tip of my fingers Size 2! When I made the photo showing size 2, paper... I thought of the show Detectorists and how he holds up a pull tab (ring pull) and says something like 83... Tizer...Does it fit?

Ya see, thats exactly what I dont like about Minelabs! Too Discriminatory and they think very highly of themselves over all the other detectors!! Like their battery offgassing dont stink?
Minelabs are too snooty to pick up a paper dollar, even if its a twenty! Like its not a worthy and valuable catch?....Paper? Digger Please! Its simply below their standard as a worthy catch! Considered dirty money or a parking valet tip at best...
Minelabs turn their nose up at anything that is not Gold or Silver! Minelabs are like a Country Club daughter of a Millionaire who would sooner marry an unfaithful Members kid than to date the more steady and reliable Greenskeepers Son who truly loves her....Tight discrimination parameters with no sens of true value!...Constantly in for service at the Minelab spa!...High Maintenance, fussy and finicky...!
