Old rusty steel bottlecaps make a screaming squeal on E-Trac, that rust will cause falsing on any detector. The screwcaps, like the aluminum ones can hit all kinds of weird lower conductivity readings above nickels but below clad. The aluminum ones should mostly disc out with tabs, but not all the way.
Is there another brand that will go deeper on silver than a Minelab?
