Is PulseDive Nokta 2in1 good for begginer?

I have one simple question. I wanna start exploring saltwater sites, and I was thinking of buying PulseDive Nokta 2in1. What do you think?

Bonus question: should I buy additional pointer?

i have 1 & use it a lot its a good fun unit

Its only good as a detector if you are planning on snorkeling/diving while using it. Also something to consider is it doesn't have any discrimination so it will go off on any metal.
