Introduction

Welcome from Atlanta. If you do good research and find good sites, you will find the good stuff with the 800. Stay in the basic modes that the 800 offers in the beginning. The engineers designed those modes quite well. After you get some hours using those modes you can look at the more complex settings like tone breaks etc.

Welcome to the forum, and welcome back to metal detecting! I'm fairly new at it, but my kids (Torpedo, Princess, & Wolf-Dog) have been detecting for quite a while. You are sure to hear from some nice people on this forum, as we have. :D
