I should open a Used Car lot!

That's quite a fleet! I had about 2 gallons of toy cars until my wife cleaned the garage earlier this year. LOL I'd just been tossing them in a bucket. I figured they'd be worth something to someone on ebay once cleaned up. Now, I'll never know.

As some of you know, I've been detecting a large housing complex in Missoula Montana, built in 1956. Not much hope of old stuff but I have pulled 10 Silver Rosies and some wheat pennies, along with one Silver GW Quarter out of there so far, along with a ton of clad.

As we have had rain for the last few days, T-Storms today, and rain for the next few days, I thought I'd post these pics and story.

Lots of kids must have played here over the last 64 years, as I have found A LOT of TOY CARS buried in the dirt. I've got so many I think I should open a Used Car Lot!

Nice!!! Love finding hot wheels and matchbox cars. Brings back good memories and my kids still play with them. I once found 10 cars in a tot lot, but nothing like your car lot.

Thanks Skippy! I think I have a couple of ziploc baggies full so far, this one location has produced just as many as I've dug in the previous 3 years.

That's a great selection of toy cars! Last one KT dug was 7" deep in sand on a volley ball field....only other signal there was a 14Kt toe ring at 8", both recovered with a Tesoro Compadre set wide open! Ha ha.

Dang David did you hide the Silver in the seats of those cars. I keep looking for them in this report and just can't find them in that car lot. Kidding aside that is a lot of toys, but your winter's are not long enough to restore them all. Congrats on the the toys ans the incidental Silver's. Trapper

Thank you Trapper! Silver coins are a tuff pull from this property, they are deep and not common. Am heading up to Missoula this Memorial Day afternoon, may check the apts out for more cars and a bit of shiny!
